My Posting today still around rescue efforts of the remain sumatra elephant in Bengkulu. Recently I tried served in the format of my certain video. All of us in Bengkulu hoped the support of all the world sides, especially blogger Sumatra towards the rescue of the fauna remained in Sumatra Island.

The background of this video was made not only because hobby but departed from the change in function plan of several conservation areas in Bengkulu. The conservation area change in function became the production region that was allocated for large scale plantation investment sawit (Palm Oil Plantation) threatened survive lived and the area for the sumatra elephant.

Bengkulu Governor action applied the policy of the extraordinary physical development so as not only sacrificed survive lived of the elephant but also the area managed by people then was dragged.

Hopely the government of the Bengkulu province in carrying out the development and pursuing the income target of the area, did not violate the right and the region that indeed in allocated for continuation of the Bengkulu community, the biological diversity and conservation.

We invite all of you to speak "STOP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM BY USED ONE'S NAME OF POVERTY",come on constructive with the rules of the continuity and appreciated the values of local wisdom

Dear All, Para Sumatera Blogger.. Posting saya kali ini masih seputar upaya penyelamatan gajah tersisa di sumatera, kali ini saya mencoba menyajikan dalam format video yang tentu saja saya dan kami di Bengkulu berharap dukungan semua pihak terutama blogger sumatera dalam upaya penyelamatan satwa tersisa di sumatera ini.

Latar belakang video ini dibuat bukan saja karena hoby bikin film namun berangkat dari rencana alih fungsi beberapa kawasan konservasi di Bengkulu, Alih fungsi kawasan konservasi menjadi kawasan produksi yang diperuntukkan bagi investasi perkebunan skala besar sawit telah mengancam kelansungan hidup dan area bagi satwa raksasa ini.. Gubernur Bengkulu belakangan menerapkan kebijakan pembangunan fisik yang luar biasa sehingga bukan saja mengorbankan kelansungan hidup satwa gajah namun juga area kelola rakyat pun tergusur.. Saya hanya berharap pemerintah propinsi Bengkulu dalam melaksanakan pembangunan dan mengejar target pendapatan daerah, tidak merampas hak dan kawasan yang memeang di peruntukkan bagi kelansungan masyarakat Bengkulu, keanekaragaman hayati dan konservasi.

Kami hanya mengajak kita semua untuk bersuara "Hentikan Pembangunan yang Mengatasnamakan Kemiskinan" Tapi mari membangun dengan kaidah keberlanjutan dan menghargai nilai-nilai kearifan lokal..
