Marbled White Moth
It belongs to the Family "Arctiidae" (Tiger Moths and Lichen Moths).Tiger Moths have bright warning colour patterns, which are spotted in red, orange, black or white.There are approximately 369 species in the genus Nyctemera, out of which there are day-flyers also. This particular moth is such a day-flyer. Marbled White Moths are widely distributed ranging from India, Sri Lanka to South China, Taiwan and Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Sumatra, Java, Philippines and New Guinea.
