Really gratefull for Mr/Mrs. Leslie Day the owner and author web World of Delias to confirm the ID. Due the website dont have photo Delias pasithoe goda yet, we allow the web above to use this photo for publication with add the location where the butterfly was taken. The location is Tanjung Dalam Village, Rejang lebong regency, Rejang land, Bengkulu province, Sumatra Island, Indonesia at height 600 - 700 meter above from level sea.
First Comment by Mr/Mrs. Leslie Day :
"What you have there is, I strongly believe, a well marked specimen of Delias
pasithoe goda (male). As I do not have an y photos of this subspecies, I
checked the description of this subspecies in the 'Delias Bible' (Monograph
of the Pierine Genus Delias, Volume 6, by Joicey & Talbot' and it matches
exactly, the yellow hindwing stripes of this subspecies are often complete
in spaces 5 & 6, as with your photos, unlike most other subspecies of D.
pasithoe. " (June 6th, 2009)
Second Comment by Mr/Mrs. Leslie Day after we send all photos below :
"I can confirm that it is Delias pasithoe goda". (July 4th, 2009)
