Dear reader. Its really gratefull for finding this orchid species history. Known in scientific name as Bulbophyllum campanulatum, this species really rare and closed to unrecognize by Rejangese people or Rejang land people recently. Thats the reason why I try to introduce you this species.

In sumatra this orchid collect and discription by Rolfe and Smith, J.J. (1909 - 1918, see history specimen below) and taken from Suban ayam (now the area part of Rejang Lebong Regency in Rejang Land), and than he review and compare another sample from specimen nearby Rimbo Pengadang (now part of Lebong Regency recently), and give determination name for Orchid as Bulbophyllum campanulatum. So thats why this orchid meaning as Rejang Land Origin also. In other publication the species report also found in Thailand, Malaysia, Borneo, and philipina (wikipedia). Justify Full

In rejang language orchid call as kiyuo singeak or klikip (kepahiang dialect terminology). Many orchid from this area I believe need to explore but now dissapear in nature due many illegal logging happen in Rejang Land. What a pity :(
